Worth noting

The first photo shows two slopes of brown tiles meeting at the ridge, with a roof window on the left. The second, closer up, shows yellow, white and grey patches stuck to the ridge tiles, next to the roof ladder. No photo shows the paint, and nothing says whether the brown tiles in the first one are painted or not: these images show the state of the ridge during the job, not its result. The painting that follows the moss removal on this job is presented on our roof painting page; the different kinds of dirt on a roof are described in the guide on moss, lichens and algae.
