Moss removal on a tiled roof in Flémalle, March 2026

  • Moss removal
  • Gutters

In March 2026, in Flémalle, Toiture Wash removed the moss from a dark-tiled roof of about 80 m² for a private customer. The roof treatment came after the moss removal, then the gutters were cleaned. The two photos were taken on site by our team, before and after the moss removal.

The job at a glance

Location
Flémalle (4400), Province of Liège
Date
March 2026
Customer
private customer
Roof covering
dark tiles, visible in the photos
Area
about 80 m² of roof
Services
moss removal, roof treatment, gutter cleaning

What we did

  1. Moss removal from the whole tiled roof.
  2. Roof treatment once the tiles were clean.
  3. Gutter cleaning.

Worth noting

The comparison rests on a single slope, recognisable by its light brick wall: in the first photo, cushions of green moss dot the dark tiles and brown moss fills the hollows at the right-hand edge; in the second, everything has gone and the grain of the tiles shows. On a dark covering, the smallest tuft stands out, which makes the result easy to judge. To choose the right time to act, see when to remove moss from your roof; for what is applied to the tiles afterwards, water-repellent or anti-moss treatment.
