What we did

  1. Moss removal from the roof and chimney. The tiled slopes, the areas around the dormers and the flat sections were cleaned.
  2. The protective treatment. A colourless treatment was applied to the roof and chimney.
  3. The gutters. They were cleaned.
  4. The site. The moss and leaves were gathered on the flat sections, and the site was cleaned.

Worth noting

A roof that mixes tiles, dormers and flat sections has several sensitive points. On this job, moss and algae had lodged between the tiles, along the cladding of a dormer, and leaves piled up on the flat sections, around the drain grates. A grate clogged with leaves holds water on a flat roof. For gutters and drainage: Gutter and box gutter cleaning.
